Registration
Each youth athlete must be registered by their parent or guardian and pay the required fees in order to participate in and secure their spot on the team. To ensure the health and wellness of everyone involved, there will be a roster limit for each age group.
For the 2026 Outdoor Season, youth athletes must be a minimum of 5 years old by December 31, 2026 and up to 18 years old through August 8, 2026 in order to participate. A copy of the athlete's birth certificate is required for all new members.
Per the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) guidelines, high school students competing with their high school track and field team cannot begin practice with the Blues until the conclusion of their high school season.
Age Divisions
To ensure the health and wellness of everyone involved, there will be a roster limit for all age groups, as determined by the respective coaches.
Age divisions are determined by the year of birth of the athlete. A copy of the athlete's birth certificate must be submitted for all new members. Athletes who are still eighteen (18) years of age through the final day of the AAU Junior Olympic Games (8/8/2026) shall be eligible to compete in the 17-18 year old division.

Non-High School athletes receive a $25 discount if the full registration payment is made prior to the first day of practice.
Each sibling athlete recieves a $10 discount after the first athete registers at full price.

Uniform Fee
All athletes, 7 years old - 18 years old are required to purchase and wear the 2025/2026 Blues uniform available for purchase on our website. Individual uniform pieces and accessories are also available to order.

Pee Wee athletes (born 2020-2021) are not required to wear a Blues uniform. Uniforms are optional for this group.
Competition Entry Fees
Fees for participation in each individual competition vary and will be pay as you go. Payment amounts and deadlines will be communicated. An additional late fee may be required for competition entry fees paid after the deadline.
Note: A USA Track and Field (USATF) Youth Membership purchase may also be required to compete in some USATF competitions. Currently the annual membership fee is ~$40 and must be purchased by the parent directly on the USATF website. St Louis Blues Track Clup is a member of the USATF Ozark Association. Coaches will notify parents if a USATF membership is required to compete in a specific meet.
Payments
Full payment of the registration fee or a $75 deposit is required to register each athlete and secure their spot on the team and allow them to begin practice. A payment plan for registration fees is available as follows:

Final balance of the full registration payment is due April 17, 2026 for non-high school athletes. Payments must be made on the website and can also be made earlier than listed in the payment plan.
